Many
people ask about my experiences and about what type of
background I have. I attended St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary
where I studied in the religious life. I continued my
studies. Majoring in Fine Art and Ancient History.
I traveled as a stage performer for a number
of years. Realizing at an early age things in life
aren't always as they appear. Then I changed my
life and switching my medium to make up. I went to
several make up schools. I also studied and worked
under some of the top make up artist. Working in film,
stage, and television. I have been doing make up for
more years than I care to admit...LOL! One
of my best friend's was a female impersonator. That
led me into an entirely different world of people. That
was when I really fell in love with make up. Finding out
what the POWER OF MAKE UP can do for a person. After
working a number of years in film I decided to go back
and get more into skin. To understand skin and what
it is about is to be able to do make up better. I
attended the famed Academy of Hair Design of Las Vegas,
NV. Taking the course of advance aesthetics under Diane
Wade. Which certified me in Micordermabrasion and
product knowledge. After graduating and then getting licensed
by the state as a true professional person in the
beauty business as a licensed Aesthetician, I continued
on with my studies. I attended other courses and seminars
on skincare and make up. I had already attended a Make
up schools many years ago. However, this is the beauty
business. Things change all the time. I got certified in
airbrush make up. I also attended more skincare courses
in advance exfoliation. Learning much from David Van Dyke
(ReVitae products president and owner) and from Janice
who was also Europeanily trained in Aesthetics. I still
continue my education in the business. It is a constant
on going thing. Which I love and hope it shows through
my Make up and Transformations. I do all types of make
up. I work in film, stage, special occasion, wedding,
horror. Specializing in Male to Female transformation make
up. As to date I am the ONLY LICENSED TRANSFORMATION
ARTIST IN THE COUNTRY.
Advice from me for all of you boys who love to be
girls: That COVERGIRL does NOT coverBOY! Always remember
that. I HATE the word passable. Passable means
so many different things to so many different people. I
also HATE the word NATURAL. There is no such thing
in make up unless the box says so. If we wanted to
be "NATURAL". Then women wouldn't shave
their legs, underarms, put make up on or, style their hair. So
once we get rid of these two phrases then we can go on
from there and become beautiful women. Other
than make up and hair the MOST important step is just being
yourself and being comfortable with yourself dressed. Then
for those concerned about being "natural and passable" it
will fall into step for you. However I would much
rather be BEAUTIFUL and that is what I can make YOU! Advice
to females: Don't be afraid of make up. It can be
your best friend. If you allow it to be. As my one
of my favorite singers says: YOU PAINT A HOUSE TO
LOOK GOOD. SO WHY NOT YOURSELF. That was a
Dolly Parton remark about her wearing make up. If
you have any questions, need help, or just to say hello.
